Rowena graduated with a Diploma in Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee and then went on to work as a graphic designer in London, Dundee and Glasgow. Rowena now paints full-time, and much of her current work finding its inspiration in the time spent with her horses and riding in the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside, as well as from Scotland’s east coast where she grew up. More exotic references are drawn from the Caribbean and from her great love of Italy, especially Florence where she lived as a student.
